Not at all — we welcome complete beginners. Whether you’ve never sung before or want to build confidence at the piano, lessons meet you where you are.
It’s never too late. Many of our students started as adults and made real progress within months. Learning as an adult brings its own advantages — clearer goals, better focus, and the freedom to choose what you actually want to play.
Yes. We teach children from age 5 upwards, as well as teenagers. For younger students, the standard 60-minute lesson can be shortened to suit their attention span.
A one-off trial lesson is £20 for 30 minutes. Standard 60-minute lessons are £60 single, £220 for a block of 4, or £360 for a block of 8 (saving £120). Duo lessons for two students are £80. Blocks are valid for one month from the first lesson.
Once you submit a booking request, we’ll send you a payment link. We also accept bank transfer, cash, or any other convenient method — just let us know what works for you. An invoice is available on request after payment.
For steady progress, we recommend lessons once or twice a week — but the schedule is flexible and built around your availability.
A lesson is confirmed once payment is received. You can reschedule once with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice mean the lesson is treated as taken and cannot be refunded.
Your first lesson is all about you — we’ll have a chat about your goals and start working straight away. No pressure, no judgement.
Fill in the booking form above or message us on WhatsApp or by email — we reply within 24 hours. For a first session, we recommend the £20 trial: a 30-minute, no-pressure introduction to the studio.
Yes. A-VOX is a neurodivergent-friendly studio. Oleksandra works patiently with students who have ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia, sensory sensitivities or other learning differences. Lessons are flexible in pace, calm in atmosphere, and adapted to your needs.
We cover a wide range across both singing and piano — pop, musical theatre, classical, jazz, R&B, film music and more. You’re welcome to focus on one instrument, or learn both in alternating or split sessions. Bring the music you love — every lesson is tailored to your goals and taste rather than a rigid curriculum.
Most students notice a difference within the first few lessons. Consistent practice makes a big difference, but even in a single session you’ll leave with new tools for your voice.
No — our studio is fully equipped with a keyboard, so you can practise right here during your session. Once you start making progress, we can talk about what to look for if you’d like to practise at home.
A duo lesson is for two people — a friend, partner, colleague, or whoever you’d like to bring along. It’s a great option for anyone not quite ready to go solo and looking for a familiar face in the room. Available for both singing and piano.
Yes. Online lessons are a great option if you live further away or simply want to save travel time. Same quality of teaching, just in a different setting.
Oleksandra is an Estill-trained vocal coach with a background in classical and contemporary performance, and years of one-to-one teaching experience across singing and piano. Every lesson is planned around your voice and goals — evidence-based technique adapted to you personally.
The studio is at 21 Page’s Walk in Bermondsey, SE1 — a 5-minute walk from Bermondsey Underground station (Jubilee line) and about 13 minutes from London Bridge station (Jubilee, Northern, Thameslink and National Rail). Several buses along Tower Bridge Road (routes 78, 381, 42) stop nearby. From central London it’s typically 15-20 minutes door-to-door.
The studio is in Bermondsey, within the London Borough of Southwark — so all of Bermondsey, Southwark, London Bridge, Bankside and the South Bank are our local catchment. From further afield: Canary Wharf is 7 minutes by tube, Waterloo 10 minutes, and the City about 10 minutes. Nearby landmarks are all walkable: Tower Bridge 10 min, The Shard 12 min, HMS Belfast 12 min, Borough Market 15 min, Tate Modern 20 min.
There’s pay-and-display street parking on side streets around Page’s Walk and Grange Road. Most students prefer public transport given the central London location — but if you’re driving in from further out, you’ll usually find a space nearby.
